We began our journey into home ownership in the winter of 2008. We made the decision to buy because of personal needs and felt that the market would serve us well at that time. Debbie was referred to us by a mortgage company. We called her and we arranged to meet one Sunday afternoon. When we met, Debbie explained to us how she worked and we told her what we wanted. She had prepared a list of a number of homes for us to look at and we headed out. Although we liked a few of the homes, we did not find a match that day. She kept us informed and guided us not only in the selection of the home itself, but also in all the stages along the way. She always told us what to expect and what to do next. When the house was inspected, she was there. When the house was appraised, she was there. She advised us on the loan and worked with the loan officer to get us as many advantages as possible, We were able to buy the home with only $1000 in earnest money. She found us a program that paid our down payment. We felt confident that we were in good hands!
